The Creative Writing Society needed a visual identity that captured the imaginative, expressive, and inclusive nature of their community: a place where students can share stories, experiment with ideas, and grow as writers. The goal was to build a cohesive brand that felt creative, contemporary, and welcoming, while being flexible enough to support diverse content types, from writing workshop announcements to general organisation activity occurrences. Every Instagram post is fully digitally illustrated to ensure a consistent, hand-crafted feel, blending visual storytelling with written content. The pastel palette was chosen to evoke softness, creativity, and accessibility, making the identity feel friendly and non-intimidating for writers of all levels. The tone is modern yet personal, suitable for a digital-native student community, but grounded in the emotional nature of writing.
